He is a sweet and loving boy who is looking for somebody with a big heart. He was a stray who came on my property that I took in and then treated for heartworm. He has obviously had a lot of physical abuse and neglected from who ever had him before me and since I've had him here are some things I've observed. He is GREAT with other dogs and cats of all sizes. He really loves walks and being pampered with love and pettings. He is an absolute love bug. During our time together in 6 or so months, he has always eaten with my other animals, but there was one isolated incident where Kevin came to my other dog and tried to steal his food which did result in a small fight that were able to break up. Since then I feed Kevin in his crate and there's not been any more issues. I'm teaching him to be easy when he takes a treat from my hand as he snatches quickly, is seems like he doesn't know the power in his teeth but it is accidental if he nips when taking from hand. Before coming to me I believe him to only be an outdoor dog so it's been a learning process from him how to just be a 'normal' dog. In my time with him I taught him 'sit', and 'wait' and teaching him to just calm down and not be so anxious. He does well in a crate when I am not home. He will let you know when he needs to go potty but if he's not walked promptly he has peed in my house, but he will not potty in the crate. Some loud noises scare him but he will calm down'|
