About Athena

CUTENESS ALERT: Athena, aka Lady, is a beautiful 13 years young, 18 lb grey and white Shih Tzu who is looking for a home for her golden years. This sweet girl was originally abandoned in bad shape at a high kill shelter in 2019 and we found her a wonderful home. Sadly her Mom died from COVID not long after adopting her and her Mom's sister took her in, but tragically she has developed a brain tumor and can no longer care for her. ���� Athena is a sweet senior who gets along with everyone. She is visually impaired but can see well enough in bright light to avoid bumping into things. She was seen by a vet ophthalmologist in 2019 and unfortunately surgery cannot improve her vision. Athena also have limited hearing but neither condition keeps her from enjoying life. She is a happy girl who is all kisses and tail wags.
