About dixie

dixie is a beautiful red nose pit who has been through so much! i tried keeping her cause her previous owner was virtually homeless and could no longer keep her. she showed some agression due to the life she had to live with anger and other things im sure that caused her anxiety and agression. so i gave her to orginal owners dad. she kept coming back to my house so i decided to try again and she was doing great! just couldnt leave her out when new people came by cause she seemed to be very protective. other day my son was petting her and she was getting riled and before we knew it she bit a gash into his upper lip. we dont believe she meant to do it. his face was in her face when she started snapping. she is so sweet and loving and deserves a good home with some one who knows how to tend to these behavioral problems. its not her fault with the life she lived and deserves so much better. i have a grandbaby and am now leary of her snapping at him. its a chance that i am not willing to take, so i would like to find her a loving home instead. thank you!
