About Katie

Katie belonged to my mother-in-law, who passed away about a year ago. Katie has not handled her death well. We took her in because my husband's sister did not want to keep her. She has not adjusted to our home well at all. We have two cats (both neutered males) and a dog. She will tolerate one of the cats, but fights constantly with the other. She does not like the dog, and will attack him if he gets too close, but she does not seek out confrontations with him. We also have two children. She likes my teenage son because he is always very calm with her. My youngest son is very active and moves fast. She will attack him if he gets too close. Katie needs an adults only home where she is the only cat. It has been about a year now, and she is still just miserable here. She is litter trained, and is not a picky eater. She loves to be petted and cuddled, just not by kids or anyone who makes fast moves too close to her. She is very friendly with me, but it does take time to earn her trust, she doesn't warm up quickly. If you think you might be interested in Katie, text messages are best, but email is fine too!
