About Sammy (Samuel)

Pointer / Dalmatian
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

My daughter volunteered at the Humane Society and found this little guy. We named him Samuel, Sammy. He has something special, super friendly, absolutely not aggressive, loves to cuddle, gets along with cats, and protects his house with an appropriate bark. He is a perfect pup. We can't find any weird habits, except eating socks. %BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%81 Since he is a young dog that lived on the street for a while, he needs a little bit training. I foster him for a couple of weeks now: he is willing to make everything right and he wants to please you. He already learned some commands and that he is not allowed on my bed, except I say so%BD%BD%BD'%BD%BD%BD| He is fast, smart, stays alone at home, is already very good on the leash. I'd love to keep him, and it will already break my heart to give him away. But as a young dog, he has a little bit too much energy for my damaged ankle %BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD. He is active and likes to be outside, which is why we recommend a big yard or active paw-rents and no small kids for him. He is a very gentle soul, but doesn't know what to do with his paws yet. I trained him to like the crate but only for transport. Since he comes from the Humane Society, he is in very good health condition, neutered, vaccinated, and chipped. Plus, he comes with a one year membership for Brewhound. Some facts: he is 1.5 years old and weights 45 lbs. There is no option fee but I would appreciate it if you could donate $50+ to the Humane Society. They did a good job with this little guy! So, are you ready to meet Sammy and give him a forever home? He so deserves it! Update: we have been on vacation at a farm in Georgia and he LOVED it!!! Herding the chickens, running around the premises, swimming (I didn't know he can swim), watching the horses! He is born to be free, not on a leash, in a crate, or in a small yard (like I have) ! I would love to see him living on a farm or at least with a big fenced yard.
