About Waylon & Willie

These 2 neutered male cats, Waylon and Willie are a bonded pair. Waylon is 12, Willie is 10. They are both in great health, lean and active, UTD on shots and negative for FIV/FeLV. Both cats are indoor/outdoor and will come when called (especially for food). Waylon is the brown tabby and Willie is the grey tabby. They are very attached to each other and I don't think they would do well if separated. Willie in particular is very attached to Waylon and will wait for him at the door to come inside. They cuddle together and get along very well. They don't love dogs but tolerate them well. They do get along with other cats but not sure about children. They are both very tolerant of antics and they're great for having their nails trimmed. If they get nervous or upset, they try to get away and I've never seen either of them swat at or bite any person. They've swatted at the dog a few times but generally will just remove themselves from an uncomfortable situation. Waylon loves to cuddle on the couch and to have his belly rubbed. Willie takes a little bit of time to warm up, but once he knows that he likes you, he is immediately in your lap when you sit down on the couch. They are really easy-going and very food-motivated. They are not your typical 'pet me while I like it and then I'll bite you when I'm done being pet' kind of cats. They love attention and if they're done with the situation, they will just remove themselves, they don't ever get nasty. No anxiety or behavioral issues in either cat. Willie had a struvite crystal blockage in 2018 which the vet prescribed C/D for. I had him on that for a while, but switched him to a raw diet (made by Blue Ridge Beef, called 'Kitten Grind') and had his urine tested repeatedly to make sure that the pH is being properly maintained for his health. He was checked in March 2022 and urinalysis showed that he is all clear. So he would need to stay on the raw diet or be switched back to the wet C/D vet prescribed diet. Waylon doesn't have any health issues, but he is also on the raw diet and would need to be on that or a wet diet of some sort. I haven't had any medical issues with either of them since. Just routine vet visits. These two sweet cats would definitely add love and affection to someone's life. They love to cuddle on the couch and Willie likes to lick the people that he loves.
