About Finklestein

Meet Finklestein! This handsome pup came to the rescue from North Carolina. This 10 month old pup came to us with a scar on his neck from what looks like an embedded collar, but that doesn't slow him down. We think he is black mouth cur lab mix. This happy energetic boy loves his toys so much he tends to hoard them. But you can take them back. He is very unsure about things and will need a patient family who will help him trust again. He is very scared, especially when you go to put a leash on him or if you want to get him in the car. We are working on house training as he does not let you know he needs to go out. He will pee in the crate and stand in it and never make a sound. Obviously something happened to this sweet boy that he does not let you know of his need to go out or that he went in the crate . He is starting to be comfortable with me. He loves to play outside! Finklestein needs a yard he can run in! He is great with other dog s but with little ones he doesn't know how big he is and he starts to play a bit rough. He will probably be good with kids that are 8 yrs and up. He has a lot of nervous energy. Finkelstein is looking for his forever home where he will get to know love, he deserves a great future with a family who will love him forever!
