About Kagome Means Pure&Kind

Hi my name is Kagome after a fictional anime character whose heart is pure and kind. My name is pronounced Kuh' gown. I am about 8 or 9 year old female, chunky orange tabby of love, that very much wants to be the only kitty getting all the attention you have to offer. I am very engaging and love to be brushed or petted. I have white socks, chest and tummy, an orange tabby stripes on my back and tail, as well as an 'M' on my forehead. My best day would be one where I sit or lay next to my new caretaker with the morning or afternoon sun warming my fur, being loved on. I will be purring to show you my appreciation for spending time with me and batting my beautiful golden eyes at you. I have been told I have a heart of gold and I bond deeply with her caretakers. I would be great for a senior or someone working from home. I love to eat as you can see, I've put on a few pounds like most people working from home these days. I enjoy playing with cat nip mice and cat springs. I will go off by myself for play time then check back in. I am not accustomed to a dog, but if the dog was very cat friendly, it would be ok. If you have kids over 6 years old, I am ok too. Oh and I am spayed, micro-chipped, and current on vaccines. I am needing a new home because my Mom has breast cancer, and moves around with a walker, it was to hard for her to bend over to care for my needs. She wanted me to be re-homed so she would know that I am safe and not put in a shelter. I am ready for a new family. My former Mom could not afford my care, the rescue just took me for a checkup and my vaccines were updated (vet pricing has gone up, rescue cost to update vaccines and a checkup was $140). The doctor gave me a clean bill of health. If an application is submitted by Easter, Snow Camp is offering $10 off my $100 adoption fee. What a great deal!
