About Penny

Penny is an 10 month old lab mix who weighs 50 pounds. Penney was abandoned as a puppy. She is the most lovely girl once you spend some time gaining her trust. She will do best in a quiet and somewhat predictable home. Penny can be reactive toward men, as such a single woman or a female household would be the most comfortable for her. Penney has no bite history. She is crate and kennel trained, house trained, rides in a car well and is not a barker. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, micro-chipped and ready for her forever home. I don't want to say that Penny can never live with or be around men. I just think that it will take a patient and experienced owner to get her past whatever trauma she suffered at the hands of a man. Once she knows that you are safe, this girl is a heartbreaker. She loves chasing toys in the yard and exploring. Penny can be choosy with other dogs, it will take a slow and thoughful introduction.Penny can be quite strong on the leash but with consistent work, she will be fine.
