About Blue

Hi ALL! This is Blue. Her vet says she is most likely a pomsky mix (husky + Pomeranian), but looks 100% like a miniature husky. We've been fostering her for about a year and are looking for her forever home. (Pics range from pup to now) She was a neighborhood stray that ran up to us, looking pretty beat up with a missing eye and broken tail, on top of being very hungry and thirsty. Despite having an obviously rough start, she truly is the friendliest dog I have ever met with such a funny, vibrant personality. She's full grown at about 30 lbs and stands about a foot from paw to shoulder. FULLY POTTY TRAINED. Great w people of all ages (she's grown up w a toddler) and is great with other dogs as well - she definitely tends to be the submissive. She would do great with another dog, as she's had a fur companion in our home, or as the only dog, as long as she is getting LOTS of attention. Prefers to be wherever you are, so spending majority of her time alone would NOT be the right fit for her. If you're looking for a dog that you can take along for the ride with you, she's perfect. She loves the water (and often hops in the shower with me). A huge snuggle bug. And she comes when called. (Escape attempts have never been an issue) UTD on vaccines. On flea and tick. And is scheduled to be spayed in July. (asking adopter to get her there and will be following up) We haven't used a crate with her, but we've made her 'caves' around our home that she hangs out in. If approached correctly, I think she'd take really quickly to crate training. We are asking a small rehoming fee to ensure she's going to a home that really wants her and are prepared to take care of her.
