About ROSIE

***NEEDS FOREVER HOME*** Are you ready to meet ROSIE ?!? Currently in Boise 6-month-old puppy named ROSIE is a loyal, intelligent dog that will most likely be an amazing hiking, biking and camping dog. She is kid-friendly, wonderful with dogs, and would likely be good with a dog-savvy cat. She will chase small animals when they run. ROSIE is up for any activity level, but also has a mellow, mild side. She loves belly scratches and kisses on her muzzle. She never strays far from her people and comes when called. ROSIE has so many wonderful attributes. She loves kids (especially gently nuzzling them to wake up in the mornings), playing with toys, learning to fetch, playing off leash at the park, and she is working on her leash skills and manners. ROSIE is crate-trained. She is crated at night and when foster is at work and school. She does have some initial separation anxiety and will whine when put in her crate, but calms down quickly. ROSIE will go outdoors to potty consistently but is still in the training stage that requires supervision and rewards. She had some submissive urination behaviors which resolved as she became more comfortable and decompressed, but unpredictable noises or movements can lead to potty accidents in the house. Like most dogs, ROSIE will need several weeks to decompress in a new home and learn the routine. Did I mention that ROSIE is the perfect size, doesn't shed, and doesn't mind a bath? ROSIE has bonded to her foster's dog and would do best in a home with another dog to not only to play with, but also to continue to learn all good behaviors.
