About Scout

Scout is a 2 year old husky mix. I have done a dna test and have all breed information if interested. He is a very intelligent dog and has been through a lot of obedience training, but often can be stubborn. It breaks my heart to have to re-home him, but after learning of his true breed mixes he deserves so much more than I can give him. When I adopted him at 9 wks old I was told he was a corgi mix, turns out he is not even close. He has 7 different breeds and I can provide that information upon request. He has a microchip, is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. While he does well around kids, he does better with older children. He loves to run and has a lot of herding and hunting instincts and would do best with someone who can work on those skills. He also loves to swim and play in water. He does have some anxiety since I got him 2 months before covid hit, but I think he will be fine if kept busy. Will need vet references and personal references.
