He is a 1-year-old, Domestic Short Hair brown tabby boy with a wonderful calm and collected charm. Monty is a lap cat, and his foster family tells is he prefers to snuggle all day versus romping and roaming in play, but will also chase a good feather around from time to time. He is an affectionate guy who loves being with his humans. He is a little why when you first meet but warms up quickly once he knows a gentle hand. Monty enjoys head scratches and belly rubs and is quite a ham when fishing for your affections. He rolls over on the floor and shows you his belly for some pets and pats, all whilst purring deeply. Montgomery likes his food too, so this is certainly another way to his heart, so treats are a must to win him over. He is a huge fan of being brushed and gets excited when he sees the brush come out. He loves his feline foster siblings, and has been caught snuggled up with them many times, and tells us he wants another cat to share his forever home with. Montgomery isn't a huge fan of dogs but would likely be able to live with one if they were laid back and left him alone. He has been kid-tested with older kids and does great with them too, although he is not super playful, he will certainly take lots of cat naps with the kids.
