In Southern terms, Ajay is a tall, cool drink of water. He is a handsome boy who is also very intelligent. Ajay is a goofball in the yard and loves to run. He also has an excellent off switch where he just wants to snuggle. Ajay had a rough start to life and has a few behavioral issues which his foster is helping him through. He is having difficulty greeting strangers and is learning that humans can be trusted. Any potential adopters will have to be very patient with meeting Ajay. It will probably take multiple visits before Ajay will trust anyone new. Ajay has seeked out professional training for his 'stranger danger' issues. His adopter will have two free sessions with the professional trainer. Ajay will need a strong but patient leader to guide him. Ajay would not be good in a home with cats or kids because he can get overwhelmed quickly. He would prefer a quiet home where he can decompress easily. Ajay does play well with medium to large dogs but needs slow and proper introduction to any new play buddies.
