About Ross

Ross is a Doberman mix about 50 lbs. He turned 1 in November and has been neutered. We took him in as a foster dog from people who were abusing and neglecting him. We can't keep him because he is doesn't get along with our 10 year old son due to his abuse. We believe he was hit and shocked (by a shock collar) at a young age when he tried to play (jumped on) the kids he was raised around. As a result he gets scared and nervous when young kids are around and bites at them to get them to back off. He does really well with our 12 year old son and will gently play with him. He is very sweet and craves love and attention! He has a lot of energy and loves to play with our other dogs. He is also very gentle with our elderly cat. His ideal home would be with an experienced dog owner, no children, and another dog to play with. We are moving and need him to go to a good home asap.
