About Scooby

Adoption Fee: $250
Lab mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

'Scooby dobby do!' Who didn't love Scooby cartoons as a kid? And you are gonna love this Scooby, too! He gets a long with other dogs and his kitty foster siblings, too. Scooby really prefers being with his family members so a home that has someone home the majority of the time is a great fit for Scooby. He would make a great 'work from home partner.' He loves the car and would like to road trip with you wherever you go. He doesn't require a fenced yard because he is pretty much a couch potato and likes to curl up in any of the available doggie beds. He likes to be near his peeps but won't be on top of you. He wouldn't make a great apartment pup though because he often has 'something to say' and his bark may not be enjoyed the people next door. He could be an only dog or live with a family with other pets...he's flexible! The nice thing about adopting an older dog is you don't have to work on a lot of the things you do with young puppies. Scooby is already house trained, he isn't tearing up or chewing on things and is overall pretty chill. He still has a little playful side (check out his video) and has the happiest smile that will warm your heart. He is sweet and gentle boy that has an endearing personality. He likes his stuffy toys and plays with them; it really is adorable. He is still working on things like crate training and should be crated when left in the house alone. He is working on loose leash walking and his new family can continue to be his positive lead and reinforcement. He does not love being left alone and has some separation anxiety which we are working on. Scooby has great Hound ears and those expressive eyes that just melt your heart! He also has cool markings that accentuate his brows. Plus he big and loveable! He is a hunk of Hound mis weighing in at 61lbs! As part of Scooby's $250 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
