About Tobi Wan Kenobi

My name is TOBI WAN KENOBI and I'm a very special 5 yr M 'Bullsky' - American Bulldog and Siberian Husky Mix. I'm 80 lbs of PURE JEDI KNIGHT in the making. I was rescued from the euth list at an overcrowded shelter in Long Island, NY and I had a rough time there because I hated being in a kennel and protested alot so the shelter deemed me 'unadoptable' ...but luckily a good samaritan came to my rescue and saw the 'sage' in me & took me in and realized I just hated being kenneled. Well that's my husky side that always likes to be out and about.. but my American Bulldog side is 'stoic', quiet and stubborn and gives anyone that comes to greet me the 'cold shoulder'. I'm not a super sociable guy... I have a quiet aloof nature and need time to warm up. Once you get to know me you'll see I'm just a big doofy guy and not scary at all. In fact I'm just a BIG BABY. I need someone who's had experience with large breed dogs who's looking for a quiet independent companion to go on leisurely walks and play fetch in the yard. I need further leash training but I'm housebroken and am eager to learn more commands so I can be at your service. I would really love a large fenced in yard so I can do my husky thing and survey the property. I'm fine with dogs in passing and I've actually been in a room with another dog but I've not been socialized properly and can be selective with dogs. It's best if I'm a SOLO DOG so I can get all the attention. Also because of my size, it's best if I go to an ADULT ONLY home as I've not been around young kids and need a QUIET HOME. Regardless...
