About Copper

2 year old, 65 lb. Redbone Coonhound. Good with most dogs (he comes on very strong and eager to play). No cats. Copper is very food motivated and already knows how to sit and lay down. He should learn new things pretty quickly when there is food involved! Copper is your typical hound when it comes to smelling absolutely everything he can. He'd probably make for a fun adventure buddy as long as you're okay with him stopping to take in all of his surroundings with his hound nose. He is goofy and likes to chase tennis balls in the play yard. When he first got here, he didn't know how to play with toys. Now he's got it figured out! While he enjoys zooming around the yard with our volunteers, we often catch him relaxing and sunbathing and will welcome cuddles. He will need an adopter who is comfortable handling a large, strong dog.
