Creek is a special boy who has wiggled his way into the hearts of our volunteers. When he first meets a new person, he is initially insecure and will let out a few barks. We understand this can come off as scary to some people because he is a big boy with a deep voice. But honestly, Creek is all talk! Take it slow, give him a few treats, then he will be your best friend for life. Creek is great with other dogs. He has made friends with so many dogs regardless of whether they are male or female, regardless of their age and energy level...Creek seems to know how to socialize with any personality and adapt to their play style. %BD'%BD%BD After a play session with another playful dog, he will become overstimulated and is a bit of a butthead toward the humans. He will try to play with you like you are a dog and becomes mouthy and stubborn. On the other hand, if you are in the yard with Creek and no other dog, he is more respectful and just wants a butt scratch and a good cuddle. %BD'%BD%BD He is a good boy in his crate. No accidents at all and occupies himself with a chew toy! Another thing to know about Creek: he has hip dysplasia. He doesn't need surgery at this time but does need physical therapy. Lighthouse will cover the costs of his medical treatment. A message from Creek: I am a 2 and a half-year-old, 65 lb. male My paperwork says I am Hound mix Dogs: I am very dog friendly Cats: I haven't met cats yet
