Macho is a good boy, but he is growing increasingly lonely. He wants so much to be a part of a family again. His former guardian had him his whole life until they moved to an assisted living facility. He was surrendered to our center 2 years ago and hasn't had any luck yet finding someone to love him. As much as we adore having him around, we know he could be so much happier with a dedicated guardian doting on him all day. This spunky boy loves to play with toys. He will chase them all day. And when he goes for short walks, he likes to bring his favorite toy with him. In fact, if he is walking and carrying one toy and spots a bigger one, he will drop the smaller toy to carry forward with the big one. He is such a child at heart! Macho came to our center with another dog named Spike who is his father, but after being here so long, we are considering adoptions for them separately. They are seniors and don't deserve to have their future spent in a shelter environment! Macho is 9 years old and about 16lbs. He seems to do well with dogs his size or smaller however, Macho will become a tough guy around large dogs so he will need a home with no dogs larger than him.
