About Captain Smarty Pants

Be still our hearts! Captain is one of the smartest pups we've ever had at the rescue. He learned 'sit' within 5 minutes, then began plopping his little booty down for a treat immediately. He now knows 'Sit', 'Watch', 'Wait' & 'Down'. He's working hard on his recall in the midst of distractions, as well as a loose leash walk. Cappy's eye contact is fantastic and with the right leader who enjoys training, the sky is the limit! Captain (CC) was born approximately 12/15/21 and weighs around 40 lbs. at the time of this posting. By the looks of his webbed paws, we expect him to be a large dog. With proper introductions, he loves other dogs and every person he's ever met. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt CC is going to be fortunate, indeed. Think you're the one?
