About Marley

Marley is a good natured, loving and affectionate one year old dog with lots of playfulness and energy. She enjoys being outdoors and needs a secure fence as she can jump a shorter fence. She is crate trained, knows basic commands but needs work on recall. She is good on a leash after just a few moments of exuberance.She adjusts to new situations well, likes other dogs and new people, and loves to cuddle. She would do well with an active owner or family, as she still has lots of puppy in her. . Marley loves treats so is motivated to learn new things with a small bribe, and she enjoys working on the leash on a walk. She is not food aggressive, or aggressive in any way, but will guard her property with a healthy bark. Marley was in a shelter in Texas in her early life, and gets nervous at the vet or in a kennel, so should be medicated before her checkups.With a little patience and love, this beautiful and loving dog can be your wonderful new companion. Due to an unforeseen change in my work, I am unable to give her the time and energy that she needs.
