About Baxter

Adoption Fee: 75
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Baxter is a big white and black shorthair male that is just a big ol' ham. :) He has been with us for 4 years. He bounced around from a couple of foster homes, to then an outdoor home, then back into foster care. Baxter loves to follow you around the house, and loves to cuddle. His go to cuddle position is half on your lap and half on the couch! No small children, please, as they wouldn't understand his communication. There is no aggression with Baxter and he has wonderful manners. He is kinda like a dog in the sense that he loves to follow his foster mom around, being nosey and curious. He gets along really well with most cats. He has to be the dominant kitty. He is healthy, athletic, and loves to snuggle. Did we mention beautiful?? He is so beautiful, handsome, and has just striking looks. He is chatty and loves to chirp, meow, and get in your business. We hope we can find Baxter's forever home very soon. He deserves to have his very own home, after not having one for now 4 years of his life. **Baxter is on our PRIORITY TO PLACE list meaning his foster parent is not able to keep him any longer so we need to find him a new home asap or a foster home asap. We do trial periods before adoption. All cats are at least 8 weeks old at time of adoption, are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies - if at least 16 wks old), and given a starter dose of flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee applies. Adoption application, interview, and home check required to be considered for adoption. No declawing policy and indoor homes only. If interested, please apply at www.rescueangelssomd.com. If pet is listed, he/she is still available.
