About COLT & PATRICIA - Bond

Adoption Fee: $550
Mastiff / Lab
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

PATRICA & COLT have become very bonded whilst at the rescue and so we are looking for a forever family who can love, care and enjoy them both. The adoption fee of $550 is for both of these beautiful souls. Located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine. Both beauties are fully vetted, PATRICIA has an estimated date of birth of 8 August 2021 and COLT has an estimated date of birth of 8 February 2021. Although they range different in size, probably by around 50 pounds, they play, eat, sleep and hang out together in the most heartwarming way. Patricia was saved from a dog meat farm (Cow Farm) in South Korea as a young pup with her 6 siblings - they were some of the lucky ones. COLT was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas where his 5 siblings had passed away. COLT & PATRICIA are such fun, loving, affectionate dogs. They are great with everyone they have met, wonderful with dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds, they have lived in the house at the rescue since they have been here. They do have access to a dog door 24/7 so although they do go outside to do their business, they will not know to let you know they need to go out. They ride great in the car. Patricia does great on the leash, Colt does need some more practice. Both Colt and Patricia are good with cats, both are curious - COLT has a very maternal way with the cats and wants to lick them, care for them and keep an eye on them. He follows kittens around and will ensure that they don't get up to any mischief, for a big dog, he is very gentle with them. Both Colt and Patricia LOVE toys, Colt has to have something to carry around with him all the time and they will both pick and destroy cheap toys. They have not had any official training, but are very responsive, Colt does know sit and he was learning Paw, but gets confused and tries to give me both paws - that is my fault for not being consistent with him (the downside of the rescue - time). We are looking for an active family that has the time for two fun, loving, active dogs, who are going to ensure that they get the mental and physical exercise, fed good quality food and treats and financial stable to afford two dogs. They are fully vetted, so no immediate vet care is needed, but annual wellness exams and such will be required.
