Basil is a loving young dog, high energy, who loves playing and toys. In training, toys are more of a reward than food. He is a strong jumper and runner, quick learner, and eager to please. Good with smaller dogs. So-so with water. Not a swimmer. Not a herder. Loves to roam and hunt wildlife. Very affectionate with adults but not great with small children. Not an alpha dog.
