About Elwood

Elwood! He may have a serious face and a fancy name but Elwood is definitely typical puppy. He is around 5-6 months old now and likely a black lab mix and has been in a temporary foster home in the south, but sadly he seems to suffer from black dog bad luck and has not had any adoption interest, so he found his way to us to try and meet some PA folks. He came to us with his brother Jake, who is similar (the only real difference is a white stripe on Jake's nose). Elwood is good with other dogs and loves to play with them. He is around 25 lbs and likely still has some growing to do but seems to be on the smaller side for a lab mix, and likely will be a medium sized dog once full grown. He is good in a crate and has been working on housebreaking, although we would expect any dog to have accidents in a new environment. He has the basics down so hopefully it should be a quick learning curve. Elwood also knows sit and is just a very nice overall boy.
