About Cody

URGENT!!!!! Meet Cody! Cody is a young, 2 year old, badger faced, Pyrenees pup. His owner is in the final stages of pancreatic cancer and we need to find Cody a pyr experienced home for him ASAP. Cody has a great personality, but he is in need of consistent training and socialization. Cody needs a lot of land to roam on and a fence to keep him home until he learns his role and boundaries. He has a lot of puppy bounce in him and will need training as he grows up. Cody loves people, but is still learning he is a big pup and shouldn't jump up. He is wary of strangers and is hand shy at times (from his former home before his current owner). He shares his current home with a shepherd and 6 month old dobie puppy, but has otherwise not been around a lot of other dogs. He also shares his home with cats, which he tries to play with, but again does not realize he could injure them due to his size. He needs to go to a home experienced with giant breeds, preferably Pyrs. He needs to learn how to be a pyr and as he learns his boundaries and responsibilities. He has had a bit of a rough start to life (he was rescued previously from being chained in a small backyard in town), so patience and training is required.
