About Beau

Beau will be 8 yo in April. He has always been well cared for, seen by a vet 2x per year and. Up to date on vaccinations. He has been neutered. Beau is an LGD, Anatolian Shepard, that was raised on a farm with many animals. Never had an issue with him. He actually had a swan playmate. Since leaving the farm in Florida, he has become a bit of a house dog and probably too socialized for only farm work. Beau weighs about 90 lbs. He loves to be outside and we allow this when he wants. On the farm here, he is free to roam. He will settle best where he can be somewhat independent. He has been around children with no issues. Other dogs are generally not a problem. More than one could be as he is very protective and if he feels an animal is threatened will react. Although we have not had a problem, if startled by a stranger, he will react. Generally when meeting new people he is very friendly. He will bark, but in a friendly way. Beau, is a friendly, somewhat timid animal, that loves to be loved.
