About Ginny

If you have a soft place in your heart for Beagle's, Ginny might be a great addition to your family. This sweetheart is a petite little lady that deserves a super loveable person/family. If you are someone on the go a lot, Ginny loves taking rides in the car, so put a little crate in there and off you go with her! She loves a road trip! She would likely do best in a lower-key, mellow family or perhaps a retired couple that would like a dog they don't have to go through all the crazy puppy stages with. Ginny loves being with her people and is happy hanging out inside the house with you. She is happy to follow you around the house and be your little companion. She doesn't need a fence as long as her family gets her out a few times a day for a leisurely stroll. She isn't super active. She would be fine as an only dog. If she was in a home with another dog, it would need to be a calmer, relaxed, older pup like herself. Ginny loves everyone she meets and doesn't know what stranger means. She hasn't been 'officially kid tested' but likely with her happy, little personality older kids would be ok. Little Ginny is dog friendly and cat friendly, too. She's curious about her foster's cat but does not chase or attack; she just leaves her alone. Though Ginny is fine with other dogs, she does tell them she does not want to be bothered when she is on her bed relaxing or sleeping. She is crate trained and will sleep for hours while you are away. She is house trained. She could be an apartment pup, too. She does bark occasionally while in her crate. Ginny is not tall enough to jump on the couch. So if you want her next to you, just give her a lift!! Her Beagle nose tries to smell all those goodies on the counter and though she isn't tall enough to grab anything, be aware she may give it a good effort...ha ha! Ginny is an 8 year old, 23lb Beagle. As part of Ginny's $250 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
