Shrimp is a 6-7 year old Doberman who lost his owner last year. The family never came forward to claim the dog so kind neighbors took him under their wing. As far as we know, he has been an outside dog all his life, thus he is not housetrained. He feels more comfortable having the freedom of being outdoors. Shrimp is living in a heated shelter and appears comfortable, but he deserves more. Shrimp loves people and gets along with older children. He has never been around other dogs so is not dog-friendly. We are seeking a foster or adopter for this boy. Someone that has the patience to work with him so that he can be comfortable living in a house and live the pampered life he deserves in his older years. DRNM will have him full vetted and neutered in the next several weeks. A $150 adoption fee applies. Please go to www.dobermanrescuenm.org and complete an application!
