2/20 Foster Surrender/Male/Lab Retriever-Husky Mix/2Y/84lbs/ HW- 2/27/22: S/O: loose stool A: ddx worms/giardia/diet/stress %9DShelter Plea & Notes: Bane was returned by his foster. He has been in foster care since November 2021. He is a sweet boy but they noted upon his return that he barks at everything. He may need to gain some confidence to face the scary world. He is a very sweet and wiggly boy, Please let us know if you can help him! per person turning in - HE BARKS AT OTHER DOGS AND ANYTHING WITH A LOUD NOISE AND IT MAKES IT HARD KEEPING HIM IN MY APARTMENT COMPLEX WHERE THERE ARE ANIMALS EVERYWHERE AND I CAN ONLY TAKE HIM OUT EITHER EARLY IN THE MORNING OR VERY LATE AT NIGHT While walking to the outside runs, Bane let out a large bark while seeing another dog walking in the distance with hackles raised and a tense body. When placed in the outside runs, he was drooling heavily but sniffing other dogs through the fence with a low tail and displayed interest with ears back and sniffing. loose and relaxed in the kennel. begins to wag his tail as i approach his kennel. loose and wiggly on the leash, leans in for pets. walks nicely into his kennel. Bane was pulling on the leash in the adoption hallway and difficult to get his focus. He was not taking treats and responded to handler's happy calls and light petting instead. He appeared to be distracted by any type of animal noises (birds, other dogs) and was very forward on the leash pulling in different directions as if he did not know which area to go to. Kicked up grass outside, let out a loud bark towards another dog in the distance, body was stiff but then he got looser with a soft mouth with more one on one time away from the other dogs. While walking bane outside in the feild, he pulls and tug on the leash. Even when seeing another dog he gets aroused, start jumping on his hind legs, pulling on the leash as well barking, even after offering him treats.
