About Shadow

Hello, I'm Shadow! I'm a young, gorgeous, friendly, and playful fellow who is ready to join my family! We can take each of my characteristics one-by-one so I can share more about me with you. I'm a Great Catch so you'll want to read this biography and then click that Inquire Button quickly before I get scooped up by someone else. Young and smart: I'm about 18 months of age. So, I'm still young, but I'm out of that 'puppy stage' which can be so tiring sometimes. I'm already house-trained--win! I'm in that great age where I'm super trainable, super attentive, super fabulous -- and I get to grow up with my family. Swoon! Possibilities: Practically endless. I've been around some children and I had a gentleness around them. I jumped up a few times, but it was with soft feet and I was quickly corrected. I even met some cats and kittens through a fence and I was calm and interested in a friendly way so I may also be a good boy around cats too. Above all, I am a Lover of Dog Friends. I really want a dog sibling(s) as I love having a furry friend to play with and I would love to romp around in the yard together. To be honest, I am not great at being home by myself and if you have to go run errands without me it would be comforting to have a dog buddy to keep me company. Gorgeous: Refer to my pictures! I'm a looker, no doubt about it. I'm trying not to be too braggy here, so I'll just leave it at that. Friendly and Playful: I'm confident and sweet. I meet people in a friendly way and I've met a bunch of dogs friendly too. Dogs are so fun! My energy is positive so I like to go meet everyone to play and hang out. My nickname here at Desert Haven is Shadow the Social Butterfly because my favorite thing to do is be part of the action. I thrive on fun interaction with people and animals. At a moment's notice, I am ready for playtime, walks in the neighborhood, hiking, going on an outing to the patio at the restaurant, etc etc -- you name it, let's do it!I just have real jovial way about me; I'm happy-go-lucky.
