ADOPTION PENDING: Hi, my name is Dusty. I was found roaming the roads. My foster Mom took me in, hoping to find my owner. However, despite her efforts, no such luck. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: DNA results show I am 1/2 Miniature Poodle, 1/4 Chihuahua and 1/4 mixed breed. The vet and my foster Mom thinks the mix is likely Terrier. I am in the small category with an estimated adult weight of 13-22 lbs. The vet thinks I am 9.5 months old. I am cream color with white feet and chest and weigh 18.5 lbs. I am all kinds of adorable! More picture are available upon request. I am neutered, UTD on all my shots, heartworm negative and microchipped. I am on heartworm and flea preventative. I am potty trained and do great in my crate. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: I am sweet and a bit goofy. I love adults, children and every dog I have been around. I have a lot of energy and love to play. I am a puppy and I enjoying doing puppy things. If you leave your slippers down, you guessed it, I get them and run like the dickens! I think that is so fun! I enjoy getting my teeth brushed. I enjoy it so much, I can't hardly wait for my turn. That usually gets me to the top of the line, lol. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: I have been through puppy training class. I have learned sit, down, stand, stay, leave-it, drop-it, wait and come. I walk good on a leash and do near me. I am easily distracted. Probably the terrier in me. It is important for my foster Mom and my future family to continue to work with me to get better and retain what I have learned. I have so much energy that my trainer thinks I would be good at agility training. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: If you are interested in adopting me and giving me a good loving home, lots of attention, providing me with excellent food and vet care as well as maintaining me on flea and heartworm preventative for my lifetime then ask my foster Mom for an application. I am looking to be a member of your family, not a piece of property. It would be awesome if I had a buddy to play with. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: My adoption fee of $300.00. I can only be adopted to someone in the Houston or surrounding areas. No apartments please! You must own your home and have a well maintained fence. I must be an inside dog. Don't get me wrong, I love to run around outside (I'm pretty fast), but I certainly don't want to be left out there. The questions on the application are there, to aid my foster Mom in finding me the best home possible. So, if you have a concern about a question on the application, please don't hesitate to ask her about it. She is looking out for my best interest, but at the same time she is very fair. Absolutely no visits will be scheduled before submission of application. Several play dates might be necessary in transitioning me to my new home.
