About Momma

Momma has been with us for 14 months. She was very scared of people and other animals and it took our officers 2 days just to catch her. Once at the shelter we began working with her and sent her to foster homes to see if it would help her improve. Momma's most recent adventure in a foster home she escaped (due to her being scared of everything) but her buddy Jagger helped get her back to us. Since being back at the shelter she has bloomed. She is playing with male and female dogs and is for the first time ever playing with toys! This is huge for us. Momma is housebroken and walks well on a leash. So why is she still with us? She needs a home that understands that she is super scared and has the ability to bolt if not watched. She needs someone that has a super social dog that can continue teaching her how to be a dog and to trust people. She can not be left in a yard unsupervised. She is crate trained and is not destructive in the home. We know there is someone extra special in this world that can help her we just need you to come adopt!
