About Paisley

Paisley is a friendly cat with adults once she gets to know you. She is playful. She will leave kids alone as long as they do not rush her. She has never hurt any of my grandchildren, just hisses. She tolerates toddlers coming up to her, it seems she knows to be gentle but will take a little petting and then leave. I would not call her snuggly. She will come to you on her terms and also will let you hold her on her terms. The longer we have had her the more she lets us hold and snuggle. She likes to be in same room with people (including kids) to observe. She loves to work! She hangs out in our office on the desks or the desk chairs. She will snuggle right before bed and then generally sleeps at end of bed. Likes to come up close to be pet while watching TV or reading. She is an indoor/out door cat but prefers indoors, sometimes she needs a little nudge. She is declawed front paws only. She will let you brush her. Paisley is finicky when drinking water. She likes running water so I have a drinking fountain for her. I can ship fountain to you. Depending on your faucets she can turn water on but not off. I believe she is chipped but not activated. Overall Paisley is a good cat, she would probably do better with older couple or single person. She does have a sensitive stomach. My husband and I recently retired and have started to travel and can no longer keep her. She really needs a loving home.
