Hattie is a Labradoodle, 79% standard poodle and 21% Labrador, according to DNA test. I don't have the time to maintain daily brushing but if you like the fluffy doodle look her hair will grow out and have the 'doodle' look so many people like. I have her complete health history and training records. She needs a home that WILL enforce good manners through positive reinforcement and tough love techniques. She is verbal marker trained and responds well. She has a good base in nosework training too. She has a high desire to please and wants attention badly. A new owner should be willing to manage Hattie through the use of her crate, which she loves. She handles grooming beautifully. She tends to be a bit of a thief and takes things off tables and countertops to get attention. She is not destructive with those items but likes to carry them around until you notice. She has had a litter of puppies but was then spayed. Hattie recently was diagnosed with a very mild case of Addison's and will need to take a tiny pill daily for the rest of her life. She happily gulps the pill in a slice of hotdog. Hattie is VERY intelligent and gets herself into trouble if left unsupervised for any length of time. (hence crate training as mandatory nap times and a break for her humans) We would love to find a home that is interested in sport training of any kind with her and doesn't have any other dogs. Please do not call as I am almost always with a client and working with their dog and can't pick up. Email or text us with DETAIILS of your lifestyle, why you are interested in Hattie (hat-ee), your experience with dogs, philosophy of dog management and any other details you think we should know.
