Zola is a mixed-breed female of about a year old and our best guess is that she is a Labrador mixed with some other breed. She was born on 11/28/2020, weighs about 50 pounds, is spayed and up-to date on all her vaccinations. She is a young and active dog that loves going for walks but is also pretty calm and well-behaved in the house. She has excellent leash manners - doesn't pull and walks by her person nicely. She is shy when meeting new people but has not shown any aggression. Zola lived in a home with children (ages 8-12) and has been wonderful with them. She is housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door. Zola is well-mannered, not destructive when left alone and does not try to jump fences. She also has no resource-guarding problem with food and toys. Zola does ok during car rides and vet exams, but can be a little nervous. She is a very smart and protective dog, so she will need an owner who can set boundaries from the beginning. Zola will benefit from crate-training and some obedience training with her future owner. She lived in a home with a cat and did well with it, and also does ok with large-sized dogs.
