About Charlie

Meet our friend Charlie! He was rescued with us in January and has been in a foster home for 5-6 weeks, and is finally ready to start meeting his new family! This young pup is looking for a home who can work with him for some basic training and teach him a routine. Just like 2 year old humans, Charlie will thrive with some consistency, structure, and encouragement to be the best boy he can be! Charlie already knows how to Sit and is VERY treat motivated! Makes sense with those ribs poking out, this is the perfect time to bond and train Charlie! He was originally found in the streets before getting picked up by animal control and finding his way to us. He is still learning how to walk like a gentleman on a leash and can be jumpy and mouthy when playing and excited. Since he has these standard puppy behaviors, Charlie needs a home with kids 8+ until he can learn some manners! Charlie is crate/potty trained and uses his kennel as his bedroom when he needs some space. He hasn't been around any other pets, so as usual we recommend he is kept separate from any current furry family members for at least 3 weeks until we can work with you to introduce them properly.
