About Josie

Josie was born in Texas but at some point, she was no longer wanted as a family dog or companion and was abandoned to fend for herself and found herself pregnant. She was found by a kind person who fed her and gave her a bath and then surrendered her over to the dog pound as a stray. This shelter was full and no place for an expected momma to be. Several pleas for help went out to the shelter rescue group and at the last minute, one local rescue came through to help. Thank goodness because little momma and her babies were almost not born due to space and were planned to be euthanized. So Josie was rescued and kept safe just in time to have her 9 babies. Josie is a sweetheart and she is ready to restart her life with a loving FOREVER family. She is beautiful too and all she wants is love and affection. And for that, she will be your best friend!
