About Leera

(DOB 1/10/22) Leera is ready to catch a ride to her forever home! Leera is a super cute Bulldog mix puppy. Like all puppies, she is still very mouthy and that means anything she can put her little mouth on. So little children are not a great fit for little puppies; however, older children will be fine. She is currently living with other foster dogs and loves to play with them. A fenced yard is needed so she has a safe place to run around and burn off all of her fun puppy energy. Leera loves all kinds of toys and a family that wants to play and have a lot of fun is what Leera is looking for; she will need lots of ways to burn her puppy energy. Leera loves everyone she meets and she is a little favorite when she meets anyone knew. She doesn't no what the word stranger means. She has the cutest forehead wrinkles and head tilt when you talk to her. She is doing well with her house training and her daily routine of going out every 3-4 hours is something her new family will need to be prepared to properly work through this with her; being gone all day will not work for Leera. She is crate trained, and she sleeps in it at night. She will also need to learn basic manners and behavior through positive reinforcement training. A puppy with consistency and routine grow into happier and more confident pups. Leera grew up from a very young age with cats; however, still finds them too fun to chase. So either a home without cats or a very dog savvy cat household would likely work. As part of Leera's $275 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
