About KOBE - So Terrified

Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

KOBE - ID#A2018382 It's not hard to see that he is terrified!! Breaks my heart!! https://fb.watch/cdj7FY1SVf/ https://fb.watch/cAejmA133F/ Before this video started'| he was greeting me with snarls, teeth and barks'| But over a short period of time he was sitting on command, and doing less low growing. Today was the first day we started working with him. Hopefully, with @shortpoemsaboutdogs - tomorrow WE will get him out for his first walk. Starting to build a bridge of trust. It's not hard to see that he is terrified. You can't win every dog over the same exact way. He responded in a more aggressive manner when I offered him treats or spoke high and softly. So I switched my technique and it seemed to help calm him. Dogs are fascinating. Disclaimer: I am a volunteer. For exact info check with a staff member. ------ Due to health concerns shelters are closed on weekdays except by appt. Shelters are open on weekends from 11 AM to 5 PM.
