About Mulan

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] This here is Mulan Shes been in the rescue over a year. When we took Mulan in we Had no clue she would be here this long. Mulan is a special dog who needs a special home She is a 3 year old, 12lb mini poodle with 3 legs. She takes seizure meds(keppra) 3xs a day for life to control seizures she occasionally has, but the meds control. Mulan came from a hoarding case and has spent over 2 years of her life in filth, not getting the attention or love she so deserves. Mulan is pretty skittish of new people and she will bark her head off. She would do best in a home with a single adult, older person who doesnt have many guests(she seems to click to one person ) who is home a good amount of the day(working from home would be even betterbut shes happy to stay home without her human)Mulan doesn't want to be a travel buddy, shes a house hermit! Mulan has to have another dog in the home, she seeks comfort from other dogs. She can NOT be an only dog. Shes fine with kitties She can't be around children, she's fearful , it stresses her out and she is a bite risk when she's scared . Mulan absolutely adores my mom, loves her to pet her and with some encouragment will let her pick her up and she is still learning to trust the other humans in the home / rescue even after a year. She does okay at the groomer . She is fixed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, hw tested .. She is going to take Patience, time, understanding, trust and lots of love. Mulan isn't going to be a dog to just open to you at a meet and greet, it's going to take time and dedication, but she SO deserves it. Mulan deserves to have been in her forever home, forever ago.
