About Dawn

Welcome Dawn to CCPAL Rescue. We think she is a Plott Hound/Lab is our best guess. She is 4 months old. She likes belly rubs and is very affectionate and social. She came from the Lockhart Shelter who was overcrowded and looking for space. The great volunteers called CCPAL and asked CCPAL to pull them. CCPAL had space due to the wonderful adoptions so we said yes. Dawn is getting her vaccinations, dewormed and will be getting spayed and ready for her forever home. She would be a fine dog with children and we like them to be 8 or older. She is good with other dogs, good in a crate and looking for her forever home. She is moderately active so a moderate family will be fine. Someone not gone 8 hours a day is best because she will need to finish up her training to be a good adult. She is not leash trained and will go on a wee pad. She will go outside if on a good scheduled. She is also living with a cat and does fine. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180.
