About BUDDY

Say Hello to Buddy! Buddy is a purebred RedboneCoonhound. He is a very active and healthy semi-senior dog approximately 7-8years old. He is extremely loving. By far the most emotionally sensitive dog here at the rescue. He loves nothing more than being with his person snuggling on the couch. He is enthusiastic and takes his job as a watch dog very seriously. He has a classic hound-dog baying bark and will lead our 'beggars opera' in chorus! Kind, gentle and extremely submissive, Buddy is easy to love, and easy to care for. He is great with all other animals and never creates any kind of conflict, in fact, he avoids it. Because he is a hound, and his tracking instincts are extremely strong, he requires a lot of space, and a well fenced environment. He listens well and his recall is very good.
