About Shadow

LOCATION: Missouri City, Texas - AGE/DOB: 1 year, 06/30/2020 (estimate) - Meet Shadow! This black beauty is a 1-year-old Dane mix who is described by her foster mom as a bouncy, extremely affectionate attention seeker. She loves to be with her humans - a true Velcro Dane! She is doing great with her foster family's 13 year old and would likely do well with younger kids and a family who understands she is high energy (and bouncy!). Shadow is great with other dogs and curious about, but not rough with, cats. She is even good with tortoises!! She does great in a crate but has also done well outside of her crate unsupervised for short periods of time. She has shown no signs of resource guarding and is doing well with her training - she knows how to sit and is currently learning 'wait' and 'off.' Her foster mom says she will benefit from continued basic obedience training in her forever home, but she is smart and eager to please. Shadow can be a little nervous and will let out a grumble when meeting new people, but it is not long before she is seeking attention and becomes the biggest love bug. Truly, Shadow is pretty perfect.
