LOCATION: Saint Stephen, South Carolina DOB: 05/17/2020 (Estimate) Hercules is a sweet boy with a lot of love to give. He is deaf and has cataracts in his left eye from being a double Merle, but what he lacks in senses, he makes up for in affection. Given his impairments, he does have specific requirements for a home-no stairs, no pools, he needs a physically fence yard and a home with kids over the age of twelve. Hercules is very playful and loves toys. He has even been known to throw toys to himself and provide his own entertainment! He has not shown any food aggression or other expressions of dominant behavior toward his foster family's other two pups, however, he cannot be around small dogs. He's actually learned hand signals to sit and wait for his meals! He has not been around cats. He has been crated when his foster family is away and he does very well in his crate, although he does have some separation anxiety and will bark for his people until he gets settled in (so an apartment setting will not be a good home for him.) He is fully house trained and paws at the door when he needs to go to the bathroom. Hercules also does well on the leash and is not reactive on walks. He is such a cuddly boy and loves snuggling with his foster parents. Hercules deserves all the love in the world and will return it tenfold if you're patient with him. ========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .
