About Toby

1 year old Toby is ready to find his forever home! He found a great foster family to take care of him for the past month and he is now adoptable! We think Toby is a Rottweiler and Hound Dog mix! Just a puppy! Toby has some standard puppy behaviors that he is working very hard on learning! He can be a little jumpy and get very hyper when playing! He is also pretty mouthy when playing and taking treats. His first home surrendered him at 10 months old for chewing when home alone. All typical puppy things! Toby does need to play and have a chewer toy to entertain himself, but he is such a good boy and learning every day! He has gone to some leash training classes and has learned good, basic walking commands. He is very strong on a leash, so he needs a human who can handle some pulling while Toby grows up. Toby also seems to listen to his foster Mom better than his foster Dad, so we recommend a strong Alpha person that Toby can look up to! Toby has done well with other dogs out and about, so we can help with some introductions to other dogs in the family!
