#Gorgeous, #Smart & oh so #Sweet, Ladies & Gentlemen meet #Nellie. She's a 5-6 years old, 55 lbs and an #AmericanBulldog/#Pitbull mix who is a little shy & fearful at first, but totally worth the wait. After all, the best things in life take time. Nellie is definitely one special girl. She does phenomenal with other dogs and is the perfect girl for a family with children that just want to love her. The way to her heart is definitely through her belly. Unfortunately, Nellie cannot be in a home with cats. She would thrive with a present and patient family that has another doggy playmate or children that know how to respectfully love an animal. She is just like the rest of us who are our best self with a consistent routine and someone around us to reassure us that we are beautiful and loved. Nellie would need a fenced in yard as she is a bit of a Houdini, but cannot hop a standard 4 ft fence Adoption Requirements: No Exceptions - Must have another dog in the home for Nellie to bond with - Must have a fenced in yard (No electric fences) - Kids in the home would be a huge plus - No cats Nellie is currently up for adoption through Help Us, Help Them Dog Rescue. Her adoption fee is $350 & will include her distemper, rabies, bordetella, parvo, & lepto vaccines; deworming; microchip; heartworm test; fecal test & being fixed. Nellie is currently on both flea & tick, as well as heartworm prevention. Nellie is currently being fostered within the metro Detroit area.
