About JoJo

Meet JoJo JoJo is a gorgeous yellow Labrador retriever mix of medium weight, 3.5 years old. She was surrendered when her mama lost her home. Loving JoJo and her mate Smokey so much, her mama surrendered them in the hopes that we could find them loving forever homes. JoJo is a sweet and friendly young dog. She loves people and kids, and she likes other dogs, especially Smokey. We're not sure about kitties, but will test for potential adopters. JoJo is house-trained and crate-trained. She has impeccable house manners and has lived inside her whole life. JoJo loves chewing on her toys and enjoys play time. She walks well on a leash and travels well. JoJo has been enjoying the play yard and loves to run and romp. She's a wonderful young doggo. If you're looking for an amazing dog, JoJo is ready to join your family. She and Smokey love each other. We would love for them to go home together but are not making this a requirement. JoJo is amazing. She has been loved her whole life and we know she'll love to find her forever family so she can shower her people with her love and loyalty. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
