About Boone

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Special needs: Diagnosis ) Hip dysplasia (both hips) and Medial patella luxation grade 3 (both knees). Blue pearl hospital Franklin, TN vet Dr. Au advises no surgical intervention. Boone should be the only pet in the house or have pet roommates that will leave him alone. Boone needs to be kept calm, low activity, and be kept a bit underweight. ABOUT BOONE: Boone is very chill and mellow. He is very curious & loves everyone he meets. His is a squishy, fuzzy, friendly little guy. Boone is a sweetheart and adapts quickly to new environments. He will pace and meow a bit for a few days (and may even hide the first day or two) but once he trusts you and the environment, he will be king of the castle. Boone shows his belly, rolls his body, purrs, and snuggles. He likes to be talked to and will chatter back. Not much of lap kitty but he likes to be near you during a nap. He likes to quietly follow you around and will quietly watch you in the bathroom and kitchen. Ground level, slow and gentle play with DaBird. Loves to bat around his coils. Sleeps most of the night in his hammock or in his carrier or on the couch. He will want a middle of the night snack (kibble). If you can resist his persistence for several nights, he will stop bugging you! Boone loves to be brushed, enjoys head and ear scratches and belly rubs. He doesn't like his mid to lower body pet. He will sometimes very gently nibble or lick your hands during petting sessions.
